Jean Wells Marks
MARKS, Jean Wells, 94, widow of James M. Marks passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at The Willows in Hamburg. Mrs. Marks was born July 3, 1928, in Whitesburg, KY, the daughter of the late Lester Clay and Ettie Lane Wells. She attended the University of Kentucky and was a member of Central Christian Church. She was a homemaker and had served as a church secretary. Survivors include, her four children, Celia (David) Wilke, James M. (Suzanne) Marks Jr., Thomas C. (Judy) Marks, and Cynthia (Paul) Salamanca; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild. She was predeceased by two sisters, Lois Lail and Faye Wells. Visitation will be held 9:00am – 11:00am Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Rd. A private family graveside service will follow at Lexington Cemetery.
