Amaya Victoria Taylor-Sandifer
Funeral Time: Sunday, May 15th at 4:00PM
Amaya Victoria Taylor-Sandifer, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 20 on Saturday, May 7, 2022. She was born August 24, 2001, in Lexington, Kentucky. She was baptized at an early age at the House of God in Lexington.

Amaya attended STEAM Academy and graduated in 2019 with honors, maintaining a 4.4 GPA. Amaya completed her Junior year at Tennessee State University and planned to return to complete her senior year; she majored in Nursing & Public Health. Amaya has been on the Dean's List throughout her tenure at TSU. She was an independent business owner at Amway and volunteered at William Wells Community Center.

Amaya is survived by her parents, Priscilla Ann Sandifer and Andrew Bernard Taylor. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Alma Jean Sandifer, Ethelbert, and Helen Taylor. She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Amaya loved The Lord, church, family, friends, shopping, music and lipgloss. Her smile could light up a room.

Funeral services will be held 4 pm Sunday, May 15 at House of God Church, 866 Georgetown St., Lexington, KY with visitation beginning at 3 pm Sun. until the service time. Burial will take place 11:30 am Mon., May 16 at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Bourbon County, KY. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. handling arrangements.
