Marjorie Gay Huffman BROWN, 81, widow of Bobby Joe Brown, died Sat. Dec. 1, 2018 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Tommy Moyer. She retired from McAlpin’s Department Store where she was an Executive Secretary. A native of Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Roy A. and Marjorie Skinner Huffman. She was a member of Central Christian Church where she sang in the choir. Marjorie was the loving mother of Vickie (Roger) Garmon, Mt. Washington, KY; Mindy (Donald) Barnett, Tammy (Tommy) Moyer, and Dale (Angie) Brown, all of Lexington. Other survivors include 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson as well as 4 brothers. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Phyllis Jeanne Fish and granddaughter Natasha Barnett. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 6, 2018 at Kerr Brothers – Harrodsburg Rd. with burial to follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10:30 – 12:30 p.m. prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Alan Hicks, III, B.J. Summers, David Cremeans, Dontae Duff, Damon Summers and Joseph Summers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dale Brown Jr., Darion Duff and Chris Pittman.
